How much does Frontier Virtual Care cost?
Frontier Virtual's membership is $97 per month for all your children. There are no per-visit fees or copays. No matter how much you use Frontier or how many children you have, you never get charged any additional fees.
There's also no commitment..you can cancel anytime.
Geographical restrictions?
We can serve anyone in Nebraska!
How does it actually work? Will I need an app?
We find that most busy parents don't want more apps so we make it easy...just text us.
Rashes? Text us some pictures and tell us what's going on.
New cold? Text us and we'll help you work through the sniffles.
If you have questions or concerns, we are just a text message away to help.
Most questions & concerns can be handled over text, but we can easily do email or a video visit as necessary to talk through what you're facing.
How many children does this include?
Your membership covers all your children with no additional fees.
I have insurance, is this still a good option?
For sure! Most families that use Frontier Virtual have insurance.
Even with good insurance, you will save loads in copays, fees, and time saved.
If you have a high deductible plan, you can potentially save A LOT of your healthcare dollars (and precious time) with our virtual plan by cutting down on unnecessary office visits and trips to urgent care.
My insurance has telemedicine support, should I just use that?
Some insurance plans have telemedicine included. Unfortunately, it rarely works well for children since most insurance providers are setup to provide adult telemedicine care.
With insurance provided telemedicine, you often have additional copays & fees, too.
With Frontier Care, you also get the parenting support which insurance telemedicine doesn't offer. From sleep training to feeding to big emotions, we help with all the other challenges parents face.
Can you prescribe medications?
Yes. We can send prescriptions directly to your preferred pharmacy.
Can you help with parenting issues like sleeping, feeding, & big emotions?
Absolutely! We know parents deserve a lot more support than just help when your child is sick. Our team helps with all the issues parents face. From sleep to feeding
Can you write a note for daycare or school?
Absolutely! We'll help your child get back to health and back to school as quickly as possible and make sure you can get back to life with a note for daycare or school.
What if we need an in-person visit?
2 options, depending on where you live:
If you live far away from us, you can see your regular doctor or an urgent care.
If you live nearby, you can either see your regular doctor or come in for a one-time sick visit at our local in southeast Lincoln. We have same day availability and you can schedule right from our website.
Can you help with breastfeeding?
Yep! Our team has loads of experience in helping virtually with breastfeeding questions & support. Clara Fybu-Eggert is an APRN & IBCLC with loads of breastfeeding experience. Lindsay Groff PA-C is finishing up her CLC right now, too.
Can Frontier Care be given as a gift?
Yes! Peace of mind is SUCH a great gift to offer parents. Grandparents, loved ones, and friends often purchase Frontier Care as a gift for parents.
