Meet Our Team

Hello! I’m Dr. Phil Boucher

I'm a husband, father of six young children, and board-certified pediatrician in Lincoln, Nebraska.

I get to care for children in the town I grew up in. I've been a pediatrician in Nebraska for over 10 years and love being able to partner with families as they raise their children.

My patients and I thrive in a personalized, relaxed atmosphere, where I can take time to get to know them and answer all their little and big questions. I love being a text message away from helping a new dad facing his baby's first fever or a seasoned mom who needs tips for dealing with her middle schooler’s behavior.

I believe there is a place—a new frontier—where modern medicine and technology meets old-fashioned personalized patient care by a devoted care team.

That place is Frontier Pediatric Care.

Frontier Pediatric Care is where compassion, accessibility, and continuity combine to ensure individualized, high-quality care for your child.

Our Team

Clara Fynbu Eggert, DNP, APRN, IBCLC

Clara is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a passion for supporting healthy families.

“I started my career working as a nursing assistant, and later worked in the intensive care unit as a registered nurse prior to obtaining my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Creighton University. I chose my family nurse practitioner specialty to be able to support individuals of all ages.  I believe that mental health is inherently connected to our physical health, and enjoy working with children and adolescents to care for their mental well-being.  To that end, I also hold a certification from the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist.  I am also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Working to address health disparities is an essential part of my practice, and has shaped my career. My clinical experience includes emergency medicine as well as primary and mental health care in a federally qualified health center. I studied Spanish throughout my education, and am proud to serve families in both English and Spanish, because I believe the relationships we build with families helps empower them to live healthy lives.”

Lindsay Groff, PA-C

Lindsay Groff is a board-certified physician assistant. She has 9 years of experience working in allergy and immunology before switching to pediatrics.

“I enjoy spending time with patients and family members so they understand their acute and/or chronic condition and things to watch for if they’re not getting better. I like to keep parents and patients involved in the decision-making process so we can find treatment options everyone feels comfortable with. Throughout my years as a PA, I have loved taking care of families and watching them grow. I have two little girls at home and understand the challenges of parenting and advocating for their needs. I am excited and honored to help support your family and help your children to grow and thrive.”

Behavioral & Mental Health Therapist

Kelly Espenschade, MA, LIMHP

My passion has always been helping to support children, adolescents, and families. Whether they have experienced life stressors, suffer from mental illness, witnessed or experienced trauma, or need a safe place to express and understand their feelings, I strive to help them heal, learn, grow, and feel supported.

I have been in the mental health field, providing counseling and conducting research for the past 12 years. I use a variety of therapies to help individuals and their families, such as Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and approaches from other types. I have experience counseling individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and impulse control/anger management. I am particularly passionate about play therapy and how to meet the needs of children and adolescents by using their natural means of responding to the environment.

My educational background includes a MA in Clinical Psychology. I am a licensed independent mental health practitioner (LIMHP). Additionally, I have obtained certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Adrienne Pitt, PhD, CCC-SLP

I am a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with over 10 years of clinical experience. I specialize in working with children with speech, language, literacy and/or feeding challenges through an interactive, family-centered approach. My desire is to support children (and their families!) to improve their communication/feeding and maximize outcomes. I use a variety of intervention methods, including play-based and child-centered therapy with a focus on teaching strategies to parents/caregivers to promote carryover at home.

I have specific interests in treating speech sound disorders (e.g., articulation disorders, phonological disorders and childhood apraxia of speech), language delays or disorders, literacy challenges (e.g., dyslexia, difficulty with reading comprehension), pediatric feeding disorders with a focus on food aversions or restricted interests, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I also have extensive experience in both the clinical and research settings with autistic children as well as children with other developmental differences.

My educational background includes a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology as well as a Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology where I focused on research and evidence-based practices. I am nationally certified through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed in the state of Nebraska.
