Frontier Speciality

Support Clinic

Frontier Clinics

At Frontier Clinics we offer evaluations and consultations designed to answer your questions and provide a clear plan forward.

These visits are open to all families — no membership required — and are billed to insurance.

In 2025, we launched an insurance-based clinic for families that need evaluations, management, second opinions, and more.

Our new clinic allows more families to benefit from our short wait times, long visits, and whole-child approach while still using their insurance coverage.

Frontier's 3-Step Process

1) Intake & Evaluation

We begin with a comprehensive evaluation of your child's medical history, current & approaches, and the challenges you're facing right now.

Our thorough, unrushed assessment aims to educate you about your child's condition, ensuring you leave with clear answers and a deeper understanding of how to help your child thrive.

2) Management Plans

Together, we'll develop a personalized management plan tailored to your child's needs.

You'll gain confidence in managing various scenarios—at home, school, or elsewhere.

3) Check-Ins & Follow-Ups

We maintain ongoing communication to adapt the management plan as your child grows and new challenges arise.

We check in and adjust plans so you can keep making forward progress without long waits, unanswered voicemails, or confusion on what to do next.

We are here for you and your child each step of the way.

Our Approach is Different

✔️ Whole-Family Partnership
We don’t just see your child — we partner with you as parents. You’ll feel supported, equipped, and confident every step of the way.

✔️ Proactive Over Reactive
We focus on preventing challenges before they escalate. And when problems do arise, you’ll already have a clear, step-by-step plan.

✔️ No More Guesswork
You’ll know what supports are available, how to respond in tough moments, and when it’s time to seek extra help.

✔️ Freedom, Not Worry
Our goal isn’t only symptom relief — it’s ensuring your child’s ability to learn, grow, and participate fully in life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to leave my current doctor to be seen at Frontier Clinics?

Nope. Families can keep their existing pediatrician and still use our specialty services (ADHD, autism, mood, asthma, allergies, second opinions). Our specialty visits do not replace your primary care doctor.

Do I have to sign up for a membership?

Nope!

Do you take insurance?

Yes. We take most insurance plans for these specialty visits and are in-network with many insurance providers including Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Aetna, UHC, Medicaid, and more.

If you are interested in booking an appointment, fill out the form below and our team will work with you to ensure insurance coverage and transparent billing.

As a pediatric clinic, a referral is not required by your doctor.

How soon can my child be seen?

We have appointments available this month. If you're ready to book, fill out the form below and we'll find a time to get your child in.

Is a referral required to be seen?

Nope! You don't need a referral for our evaluations. Fill out the form below and we'll get your appointment scheduled.

Do you prescribe medications if needed?

Yes absolutely! Our approach, first and foremost, is to minimize medications as much as possible. For ADHD, asthma, allergies, and mood concerns, we can prescribe and manage medications when appropriate, in combination with behavioral and lifestyle strategies.

What if I just need a one-time consult?

That’s completely fine. Many families come for a single evaluation or second opinion and return to their home pediatrician for ongoing care.

How long are appointments?

Specialty consults typically run 45–60 minutes. Unlike a traditional practice, there are no long waits or excessive forms to fill out. You can count on a thorough evaluation with your time respected.

How often will we need follow-ups?

That depends on the severity and how well your child is responding to the plan—but we typically start with monthly until we have a solid plan in place and know that we are making forward progress with our plan. For example, for an ADHD visit we usually see monthly until things are stable and we are in a good place across the board at home & school and then stretch out time between visits.

Can you do blood tests, breathing tests, imaging etc? Does insurance cover?

Of course! We can do all the testing your child needs.

For blood draws, we can send you to a nearby lab with pediatric experience. Your insurance will be billed for those lab tests.

For imaging, we will arrange for any imaging studies to be done at a nearby imaging center or hospital, depending on the study and your insurance coverage.

For breathing tests, we can do spirometry breathing tests in our office.

Your insurance is used for all these tests.

Can you coordinate with my child's regular doctor?

Yes! We can send a report so your doctor is aware of the plan if you would like. We will take care of all medication refills so you don't have to play phone tag when you need a refill.

My child doesn't have a specific diagnosis but I'm struggling with parenting issues. Can you help?

Absolutely. Starting solid foods, sleep issues, typical behavioral & parenting challenges...we are here for you and can help with ALL the parenting questions you're facing.
